While passing an electronics store I saw a demo of an electronic surveillance system. I found this to be rather ironic and an accurate reflection of many failed approaches to security. (Hint: look at the right corner of the screen) (Hint #2: Thats the Windows message alerting the user that a firewall is not running)

its amazing how often you see systems being set up where the installer is only concentrating on the system he/she needs to set up and they dont even notice (care ?) that the base operating system they are installing on is flawed !
A chain is only as strong as it weakest link…
